Our Approach

Assessment first. Then a plan built entirely around you.

No two bodies present the same way, so no two treatment plans should look the same. Your first visit is a full hour with a licensed physiotherapist — we find the actual driver of the problem rather than chasing the symptom.

1

Full-hour initial assessment

A detailed history, physical examination and movement analysis with a licensed physiotherapist — never a rushed ten-minute screen.

2

A diagnosis and a written plan

You leave the first visit knowing what is driving your pain, how long recovery should take, and exactly what the plan involves.

3

Hands-on therapy plus active exercise

Manual therapy, dry needling and taping for relief — paired with progressive exercise, because strength is what makes results last.

4

Measured progress and a fitness hand-off

We re-test against your baseline at set intervals. When you're ready, our fitness programs keep the gains you've made.

Why Nexus

A clinic built around time, not turnover

Most people see a different clinician each visit and repeat their story every time. At Nexus you see the same physiotherapist, for a full session, from assessment through to discharge and beyond.

A full hour, every initial assessment

We take the time to actually find the cause. Rushed assessments produce short-lived results.

The same clinician, start to finish

You are not handed between practitioners. Your physiotherapist knows your history and your goals.

Hands-on therapy plus real exercise

Manual therapy, dry needling and taping for relief — combined with loading, because strength is what lasts.

Progress you can see

Objective re-testing at set intervals, so you always know whether the plan is working and what changes next.

A fitness studio in the same building

Discharge isn't the end. Our therapist-run programs carry you from rehab into long-term strength.

Transparent, insurance-friendly billing

Clear pricing before you commit, direct billing with most major insurers, and no surprise invoices.

Patient Stories

Rehab redefined, in their words

4.9 average from 380+ patient reviews
After my knee replacement I could barely get up the stairs. Nexus gave me a plan I could actually follow, checked my progress every two weeks, and never once made me feel like a number. Ten weeks later I'm walking the trail behind my house again.
DDaniel R.Post-surgical knee rehabilitation
I put off getting help for my pelvic floor for two years because I didn't know who to ask. The team here made it completely comfortable, explained everything, and I finally have my confidence back after my second baby.
PPriya M.Women's health physiotherapy
I tore my ACL playing soccer and assumed my season was over. Their rehab was structured week by week, and the return-to-sport testing meant I knew I was actually ready. I finished the program in the fitness studio and I'm stronger than before the injury.
MMarcus T.Sports injury & fitness program
My husband had a stroke and we had no idea what recovery should look like. His physiotherapist set goals with us, taught me how to help at home, and celebrated every small win. His balance and walking have improved beyond what we hoped.
EEleanor B.Neurological rehabilitation
Fifteen years of on-and-off back pain and I'd tried everything. This was the first place that actually assessed why it kept coming back, then built strength work around the cause. I've been pain-free for eight months and still train twice a week.
JJames O.Chronic low back pain
My mother is 74 and had two falls last year. The 60+ strength group changed everything — she's steadier, more confident, and genuinely enjoys going. That's worth more to us than any prescription.

Common Questions

Everything you might be wondering

Still unsure about something? Call the clinic and speak to a physiotherapist directly — not a call centre.

+254 700 726 565

Do I need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist?

No. You can book an appointment with us without a physician referral. Some insurance plans reimburse at a higher rate with a referral, so if you'd like us to check your specific policy before your first visit, just ask when we call to confirm.

What happens at my first appointment?

Your first visit is a full hour with a licensed physiotherapist. We take a detailed history, examine the area that's troubling you, look at how you move, and explain our clinical findings. You leave with a written diagnosis and a treatment plan that sets out how many sessions we expect and what the goals are.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends entirely on your condition, how long you've had it, and what you're aiming to get back to. Many musculoskeletal problems improve substantially within four to six sessions. Post-surgical, neurological and chronic conditions usually take longer. We'll give you an honest estimate at the first visit and review it as we go.

Do you accept my insurance?

We work with most major private health insurers, SHA, corporate schemes and motor or personal injury claims. Bring your cover details to your first appointment, or ask when we call you and we'll verify your specific benefits and explain any cost to you before you commit to a plan of care.

Do you offer physiotherapy at home?

Yes. For patients who find travel difficult after surgery, a hospital stay or a neurological event, our physiotherapists deliver the same standard of assessment and treatment in your home. We also offer telehealth reviews between in-person visits where clinically appropriate.

Can I join a fitness program if I'm not a physiotherapy patient?

Absolutely. Our fitness programs are open to anyone in the community. You'll start with a free movement screen so we can place you in the right group and scale every exercise to your current capacity. Many members come for prevention rather than rehabilitation.

What should I bring and wear?

Bring your insurance card and photo ID, plus any scans, reports or surgical notes you have. Wear comfortable clothing you can move and stretch in, and footwear appropriate to the area we're treating. If we need to see a shoulder or knee, we'll tell you on the phone so you can dress accordingly.

How soon can I be seen?

We hold appointments open for new patients every week and can usually offer a first assessment within two to three business days. Post-surgical and urgent cases are prioritised — tell us your situation and we'll work around it.
